The heroes of Avalice are back to face their greatest challenge yet as the past-paced platforming game returns. In Freedom Planet 2, Merga an ancient terror has emerged from the depths of the ocean, and it is up to the heroes to bring it back to the crystal prison where it came from. However, this time, the heroes are split between sides, and their friendship will be tested as the Bakunawa rises. Freedom Planet 2 offers four playable characters which will be available from the start. There are also three modes, namely Adventure mode—where you can explore the world of Avalice, Classic mode—which lets you dive into the action, and the Battlesphere mode—where you can test your fighting skills. There is also a new revival system that gives you a new chance to win during close battles. However, it costs stock when used and can only save you from one crucial hit. Freedom Planet 2 also comes with a new guard button to parry enemy attacks. It also offers customization to power up your heroine and allows you to change the rules with amulets, charms, and stones.
